Megan Boyd is a Connecticut choreographer, performer, and teacher whose former performance career was in New York City.  She was co-founder of MUTE, a performance collaboration that explored choreography and improvisation for the concert stage and for digital media.  Her performance background included performing with dance artist Sara Rudner for ten years, and performing in four-hour dance marathons with Ms. Rudner in New York, Massachusetts, and Ireland.  Megan's choreography has been presented at Dixon Place and WAXworks in New York City, at the 5x5 Dance Festival at the University of Saint Joseph, and in dance concerts at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Connecticut.  She holds an MFA in Dance from Sarah Lawrence College and a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts.   She became artistic director of MBDT: MB Dance Theater in 2020. 

Luka Kito is a performer in both dance and theater. Originally from Japan, Luka was an actor and set designer who moved to the United States and developed his own dance company in New York. A former co-founder of MUTE, he is now a collaborator in MBDT contributing performance, stage design, videography, and concepts. He holds two bachelor's degrees, one from International Christian University in Tokyo and one from Pratt Institute. He holds a master's of science degree in Architecture from Columbia University. He works in New York City as a project director, manager, and 3D designer for a museum design firm.
